I am interested in your opinion guys. Are you paying for the girl in the restaurant on the first date? And if she shows that she can pay herself what are you doing in this situation?
The reason of that question is that I my new boyfriend doesn't really care about paying for me, and this is quite offending. Does it mean that he is not very serious to me? Actually we just had a few dates and nothing serious has happened between us yet. What does such behavior means?

this is absolutely ok. usually guys do not even think about this as a problem. this is like an rdinary behaviour. for sample, me friend's boyfriend was unemployed when they started to date. and she payed for him for about 3 or 4 monthes. and she even didn't know that he is unemployed. they are still together. and this case happedned 2 years ago.
I think you'd better to suggest him once, ease whether he want to treat you coffee. and you would be very pleased
try it. may be you will discuss it finally
